Temperature & Humidity Recording & Cellar Control

Post by Fritz »

Hi,

I've just built a cellar room and would like to monitor the temperature and humidity in there, plus also use the temperature to control an air conditioner in the room.

I'm not sure of the final configuration but the basic idea is that I'd like to mount the temperature and humidity probes in the cellar and connect them to a PC which data logs the measurements and switches the A/C on and off as required.

I've seen many stand-alone units that you can leave in a cellar and then take them out but I would really like real-time control with data logging.

Has anyone seen / made something like this?

Many thanks

I like it too but it looks a bit expensive and it's basically just a data logger with a nice little web server sort of thing built in.

It would be nice if it had a couple of alarms or output to control something.

The search continues!
