Lost Cricket Grand Final

Post by Von Ridler »

Adair,
Gordon 3RD Grade ?
I am also a member of the club
Been watching all matches out of Chatswood this year.
If it is Gordon it never twigged that the fast bowler I have been watching is the Adair of Auswine.

Regards,
Ron Vidler.

Hahaha... and the glass of Champagne against the background of thousands of beer bottles didn't give it away either! :)

A Gordon for me!

Adair,
Even chasing 258 I still thought the 3rd's could do it.
The selected side had a combined average of about 340 odd.
The problem was for one of the few times this year a partnership did not develop. May be the Jones runout was a turning point.
Pic needed someone to hang around.
I have had a few good wines whilst watching the cricket at Chatswood, the last time Gordon played Sutherland we had an 86 John Riddoch.
If I had known you were the Adair from Auswine we could have given you a glass. It would be better than the water bottle you slug from on the boundry between overs.
Heres to next season.

Regards,
Ron.
