Wine Storage @ 19 Degrees

Post by DJZany »

Sure, Melbourne hit 42 or thereabouts today. Pretty hot.

But I still didn't expect to see my cellar at 19.3. (and with only 48% humidity).

I went home and got my other thermometer to check.

I have the photos.

Should I name and shame the facility, or give them a chance to answer tomorrow?

Whatever the case, I am moving on Tuesday.

Give them a chance to explain, maybe they had an equipment failure, a couple of days at 19/48 won't affect your wine. If you don't get a satisfactory answer, name away.
Cheers

Life's too short to drink white wine and red wine is better for you too! :-)
