I have a couple of these at home. Its a weird one, In nz it retails for around $30 but I have never paid more than $16 it always seems to be on special. Maybe not worth in Price.

Hope mine are a bit better than yours.

Sounds funny... maybe you could try taking it back...

FWIW I liked the traditional 01, and the Balmoral 1996 still rates as one of the best wines I've tasted.

There were also some other magnums of rosemount (out of the olympic collection) that I had, and the merlot one was superb. Still have one magnum left to open.

It's been many many years since I've tried a Rosemount I've liked. Have given up now.

Old Show Reserve Cabernets are great buys at auction. Currently drinking my way through a six-pack of 94, $12+commission.
