Hi everybody.
There are lot in common between wines made in Israel and the local Australian wines, one thing for sure can't be compare and that the size of the industry Israel is very small.
There is an article about some Israeli wines that have tasted in Canada about a week ago. Two of the wines are made by me (as winemaker of Tulip – winery) before I came to Adelaide to do my post graduate diploma in oenology.
The wines export from Israel to Australia are very simple and very cheep (not recommended unless you need kosher products), but for the last 20 years there are some very good wineries in Israel that produce very high quality wines (both red and white). I hope you find that article interesting.
