All,
Has this been released yet in Oz? I've heard there is some stock in the UK, but I can't find it listed on D'Arenburg's website or on Bibendum's their UK disti?
Chester Osborn told me back in May that he expected it to be one of the best Dead Arms of recent times, anyone tasted it yet?
Cheers
Ollie
Dead Arm 2004
I haven't tried it and I am also interested to hear from those that have but here is JO's review:
"96 Points. The finest Dead Arm ever made has a smoky, ethereal and spicy bouquet of slightly meaty dark plums and berries scented with violets, licorice and black pepper, cloves and cinnamon. Smooth and sumptuous, it's powerful and searingly intense palate of black berry fruit has a salty/mineral edge and a sophisticated marriage with new oak. Despite its intense fruit sweetness, the wine finishes long and savoury, with lingering sour edges, terrific acids and overall balance. A traditional wine, with cut and polish" - Jeremy Oliver. 1st July, 2006.
Cheers

Yes, just released in the last week or so, I've seen a couple of $50 case price offers.
