Coonawarra Roadshow

Post by Davo »

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For Perthites, the Coonawarra Roadshow hits Perth on Wednesday the 6th of September at the Perth Town Hall, I think from 5:pm onwards.

If you are really keen, Zema have a 25th anniversary dinner the next night at the Witches Cauldren. tickets are $99 ex Zema and numbers are apparently very limited.

Should be a big week, finishing with the Peel Shiraz Challenge on the Saturday.

Looks like an alcohol free week to follow.

Thanks Davo. I've tried contacting them about this a while ago to find out more but as usual no reply.

Where do you get tickets from or do you just rock up and pay at the door?

Coonawarra Roadshow

Poorly marketed: too little too late, too expensive.
But I am tempted to go nonetheless.

Coonawarra Wine Tasting Treat

Coonawarra will come to you during August and September when its vignerons hit the road for the 2006 Coonawarra Wine Tasting Roadshow, bringing their latest releases to a city near you. You will have the chance to taste your favourite Coonawarra wines with the winemakers responsible for them, giving you a rare chance to experience the flavour of this unqiue region. Wynns Coonawarra Estate will of course be there pouring, amongst other delights, the 2003 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Michael Shiraz and John Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon.

If you want to taste over 100 wines from up to 22 of the region's wineries whilst mingling with the people behind the labels, don't miss this once a year wine tasting event! Tastings will be held from 5.30pm to 8.30pm in each city.

The Coonwarra Roadshow will be in your city soon - Put these dates in your dairy

22 August - Brisbane
24 August - Melbourne
4 September - Adelaide
6 September - Perth

The cost of entry is $25 and tickets are available at the door. To pre-book: contact (08) 8737 2392.

Brett

If that is not an oxymoron, I don't know what is :D .

See you and Patricia at the Roadshow in a couple of hours.
