I recently joined the Rockford mailing list. However, I am not able to get my hands on some Basket Press shiraz. What are the must buys from the mail order except the Basket Press shiraz and Black shiraz? Is the Rifle Range cab any good? thanks.

The Rifle Range Cabernet is available whether you are a Stonewaller or Waiting List mailing list member. The guys and gals at Rockford consider that the 2001 cabernet is the best they've ever made - in fact, at a recent bunch of Rockford dinners in Melbourne (held at Asiana) the '91 cabernet supposedly blew the '91 BP out of the water ... . Many at the winery consider that the cabernet doesn't get the kudos it deserves due to the Cult of Basket Press and Black Shiraz.

On my current mailout it says "as a stonewaller" blah, but I don't think I am a Stonewaller as it does not make the BP or BS available to me ??

Having just come back from the winery, I believe the Rifle range is their best cab for many years.
Ian indicated people are more likely to move up the "wait list" if they buy regularly, so perhaps purchasing the Rifle Range is worth it for two reasons. Fro memory, the Rod and Spur wasn't too bad either.
