TN: auswine panel Grenache #3-Longhop Old Vine Grenache 2005

I thought it was about time to stop posting as a guest and use my real name.

First Impressions
The colour is dark and crimson but not as dark as the Kalleske Clarrys.

The nose is intense and crisp there is definately some power here. Wonderful crushed berries jump from the glass surrounded by nutmeg and cinnamon, I could sniff this thing all day!

The palate is all texture being thick and sexy.
The wine ends with the taste of bitter cherries that last long after the fininsh.

This is a very well made Grenache that offers great value for money at around $20 most on the panel thought it was closer to $30. I will be buying some when it becomes available.
