Mount Mary Order

Post by HenryL »

Hi,

Has anyone in Sydeny or NSW received their wines? Rang up the winery two weeks ago and was told to wait for 10 more days. At that time, they were only working on orders from VIC.

Cheers
Henry

I'm not buying this year, a mate of mine "Bob" said the stuff was overhyped.

Not yet. They seem fairly relaxed about sending the stuff out - or, more likely, there are lots of small orders and not so many people to pack them!

Always thought Nov/Dec was an odd time to ship pricey wine around the country. S'pose it's better then February...

cheers,
Graeme

Interesting at the winery there were four items pinned onto the barrels:

1. Langtons IV
2. JO tasting notes of the current releases
3. A paragraph of RPJ
4. A Philip White article that on my very quick read looked like some RPJ bagging

Have to say that all the wines tasted great - the pinot quite a sweet initial taste compared to other recently tasted pinots, however this initial sweetness was followed by some nice pinot complexity

Not yet, but in typical MM tradition my order is likely to be delivered on a +30C hot stinking day, and will have to return a few leaking bottles!
