double tons

Post by Craig(NZ) »

Not saying he is in the same league as Lara but..Greatest double century ever (that ive seen anyway) is still Nathan Astles vs England. Now that was a bloody awesome knock double century of 153 balls, you could watch the lot and still have a full day doing other things as well!! Very very exciting viewing

...but after all that the kiwis still lost the match :-(

Ross

I was thinking of you when I was watching the league and was going to give you a ring. bet you were buzzing, those poor stunned australians looked like they thought they just needed to turn up

hehe

Now all we can hope for is a good showing in the cricket to top off a good year in trans tasman sport - Super 12, Rugby Tri Nations, Bledisloe, League Tri Series, Netball.

I hear we lost the axeman contest or something though and lost the girls hockey after a good start :-(

Ha! You'll NEVER beat us at girls hockey!

Very good effort on the league though - credit where it is due.
Cheers,
Kris
