2002 Dutschke St.Jakobi Shiraz – 15%

Fruitcake, chocolate, cherry ripe within deep, dark sumptuousness. Sweet vanilla oak and spices are swamped. The wineÂ’s power and soft, ripe, very fine tannins remain on the palate for long time. The wineÂ’s middle palate seemed a bit short, passing quickly, but I put this down to the bottle only recently been opened. Ridiculously enjoyable and will improve over the next few years. 17.8/20, 92/100.

Kind regards,
Adair

Ridiculously enjoyable it is, and the 2002 Oscar Semmler is even better.
