Has anyone tried this or heard much about it? Is it worth getting a couple for the cellar?

Well no, but what do you expect when they are from the same winery and St Peters is $40+, Chalambar $20? !!

Chalambar 03

Tried this on the weekend after having 02 the night before. I am a little under welmed by this this at this stage. Didn't get any complexity as has been suggested by others and the nose was rather subdued. Will try again soon for a better result soon. I'll be stickin to the 02 for choice. By the way, has anyone been able to get more than a bottle or two of St Peters 02?

Hot off the truck, and a good shaking on the way. I'm leaving mine for a week or so to settle down before I try.

Last Chalambars I tried were 98, 99 and 2000. Anyone know where I can get some more 2000?

Please

I have tried bottles of both 02 & 03 Chalambar over the past week. The 03 is a step up on the 02. The latter is a bit hot, jammy and herbal for me (i.e. somewhat disjointed just now) although it will appeal to some and could improve over next few years. The 03 is balanced and seamless even at this time of its life. I'd highly recommend the 03.
Cheers,
