What's on the table

Hello

Slow Friday afternoon, what have you picked out or are eying off for drinking this evening, or over the weekend?

2001 Hewitson L'Oizeau Shiraz for me this evening.
regards

I think I'll give the 96 Primo Moda Amarone a try tonight.

Matched with my favourite company and a couple of A Perfect Circle CD's.

Weekend drinking

Post by Red Bigot »

AFD today after a big night at a venison/cabernet theme dinner at Sage last night (Thomas Hardy 91 and Dorrien 91 cabs were superb, better than the 90 Mt Mary on offer for my taste)

Leasingham CC 92 Sparkling Shiraz and 91 Dalwhinnie Cab and Shiraz for a friend's birthday party tomorrow night.
Cheers
Brian
Life's too short to drink white wine and red wine is better for you too! :-)

Quiet night tonight after giving it a nudge during the week.

Think I'll finish off the bottle of 01 tatachilla cab 01 that I started last night. Will see how it progresses tonight but was very yummy last night. Seems to be up there with the 97 and 98 which is pretty good.

Freezing here so a big red is on the agenda.

cheers

Something older in an ageworthy white, Yeringberg Marsanne/Rousanne 95 or maybe a Long Vineyards Chardonnay 93 from Napa Valley. Sometimes young and full of vigor, sometimes mature and more laid back I guess.
