G'day
Light purple in the glass. A somewhat herbal nose (rosemary, oregano and thyme) and a hint of leather alongside dark and red cherries, a touch of spicy oak and a faint touch of menthol.
The palate has riper and fuller red fruits than I expected, while still remaining medium weight overall. There's cherry cola, more spice from the oak, and a clean line of acid providing freshness and vibrancy. The wine finishes full and relatively long and satisfying.
Better than I expected, given 2018 was a lesser vintage.
Cheers
Allan

Hi Allan. Thanks for the tasting note.
I find that 2018 wines from Italy to be quite good (depending on producer) and yes not the greatest of vintages. I think they drink well now and probably not one for long cellaring.
