G'day

This wine is a blend of Sangiovese, with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot as minor components. It's unoaked, spending its maturation time in concrete, and vegan friendly.

Deep purple in colour and relatively bright in the glass. The nose is all about the fruit (not surprisingly) - lots of bright cherry and blueberry, along with some spicy notes and surprisingly, some milk chocolate. The palate is also bright, with tangy raspberry alongside the cherries and darker berries. Acid is mouthwatering, and tannins are fine but quite grippy. Short length - all of the flavours in the mouth are at the front and middle of the tongue.

Overall, a wine for relatively early drinking, with enough complexity to hold interest.

Cheers
Allan

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
