Winerick, the 2019 JR is simply magnificent. I had one two weeks ago, perhaps the start of drinking young wine instead of 20 years down the track of having dozens of sealed cartons.
Nods around the table followed with in unison...gee this is good. I felt the wine was telling me go away and comeback, but then OK, you can stay, if that makes sense. Black in colour, so cool but smooth in the mouth, masses of fruit, oak tampered due to it being so balanced already, and tannin that left you tasting it 60 seconds after the last sip. Fortunate to have a dozen , will give them 10 years and then drink over the next 10-20. The 2021 release that I tried a couple of weeks ago was equally good, and will follow the same longevity. The Michael's from 2019/21 are equally superb.

If money no object then well...10 dozen perhaps.
Cheers Craig

No room at home, but I still bought a few things

3 * 2023 Flaxman Syrah, Agricola and 1 each of the other 3
2 * 2013 Grand Cuvee, Domain Hortus
1 * 2003 Maurice O’Shea Shiraz, Mount Pleasant
1 * 2015 Cri du Coer Savignin, Crittenden
1 * 1990 Kunoonga Hill, Penfolds
This is my church, this is where I heal my hurts.

I’m grabbing 3 X Agricola Flaxman and 2 X each of the others. Cal suggested the Flaxman might be the most approachable so thought would grab an extra for an early sample.
