Great looking Muscat Con and that Burgundy style 74 looks really, really interesting.

Yes thanks for the pics. MM has hardly changed, this years release should be a good one. The red has morphed a little but the house is the same.

Really interesting purchase with the Chablis Malcolm!

I assume Emmanuelle flew over to Chablis, vinified and bottled on site, then shipped it over to Aust?

Rossco,

Some great wines at Bekkers. The Chablis was great. Yes, Emma heads off to Chablis to do this, I think she has made 2-3 vintages so far, missed another one or two due to COVID. They now have some vineyards at Clarendon which they have been rehabilitating for a couple of years, I think all steep and contour planted, might get some Cabernet and other reds this year. Will be interesting.

Cheers, Malcolm

Andrew the irony is not lost on me.
Supposedly a progressive state, the wine state, Dunstan in the 60s ending the 6 O'clock swill, outdoor dining, BYO everywhere...but try buying alcohol in a supermarket in SA. We have a pathetic set up here where publicans, independent wine shops etc jump up and down that their livelihoods will be ruined, if one was able to do the weekly shopping and get a coule of bottles of Shiraz!!??
Yet leave the supermarket and you can go next door for an alcohol purchase...plain arse dumb!

I have a couple of bottles of 2019 St Hugo, $36 was the cheapest I could get it. Suspect the Costco price would be well south of that...perhaps I should ask you to get me a sixer and I'll pick it up when next in Victoria.

Anyway fantastic for you, shithouse for us
