Anyone have any insight to what we might expect from 2019?

3 x Rockford SS

Sorry Hacker, I’m not a good enough taster to work out BP 2019 from the tiny cellar door pours.

I was there yesterday for a lunch and tried the ‘19 BP, don’t know what to think about it. I will still get my allocation, and hope when I open one in years to come it resembles a BP….

Nice one... I went to their cellar door for the first time when I was back in Oz in May specifically to get this only to find they were sold out (which I guess I should have expected!)

Will be getting these a little later, CC currently on life support.
I think I have asked you before how do you get a dozen. 6 on a visit and 6 on the mailer?

Holy Moses! Your wife isn’t a Stonewaller too? I thought everyone signed their partners up to get them invested in our wine buying addiction?

I’m drinking both those O’Leary & Walker Riesling’s from 2009. Pleasant! A bargain really. Such a no brainer to cellar screw-capped Aussie Riesling for a decade plus. I bought cases on the way home from the Barossa at Dan Murphy’s Elizabeth in 2010. I was dismayed at the lack of buying opportunities at Barossa Valley cellar doors and loaded up at DM’s for a fair discount of any local offerings.

I wonder if they'll release a Dr's Cut from the 2022 vintage...
(edit) I can see mention of a 2022 Dr's Cut elsewhere on the internet but not yet up on their site...
Will be sampling some of the 2008 over Christmas, and looking forward to it.

Hi Simon, there will certainly be a Drs Cut.
I can feel the hype around the '22s just as there was for the '02s and '12s...so anyone who is anybody will be releasing anything they have re Riesling
Can remember the normally very reserved Stephen Henschke (he lets the high priced wines do the talking), coming out and saying the '02s were the best he'd seen.

3 x 2021 Ashton hills Piccadilly Valley pinot noir
6 X 2022 Cooter & cooter Rizz
6 X 2021 Cooter & cooter Shiraz (got some gongs this one I found out post purchase)

6 X 2019 Rockford BP.
Reading the Rockford Rag it says probably no 2019 BP for cellar door come march due to quantity.
Over 2019-2020 vintages only half of a stock vintage. Super slim pickings.
