A sixer of 2019 Fallen Giants Grampians Shiraz...part of the original Mt Langi Ghiran vineyard owned by the late Trevor Mast.

Apparently its just scooped the JWT, not that that matters, always after Victorian shiraz, will go well with Bests and Seppelts.

Mike, 12 is a new release from an old vineyard in Flaxman Valley (sub district of Eden). Had a glass on the weekend pre-dinner at a pub in Adelaide.
Very good indeed.

I have heard its magnificent ...actually yet to try myself but was offered a decent price for the three so figured may as well pull the trigger.

Actually recently came into possession of a Cartier Brut , have you tried that? It was the culmination of an extremely damaging shopping trip by the better half in Barcelona.

Haven’t had Cartier for a while. I remember being more impressed with the bottle than the contents (sorry!).

I didn't even know there was a Cartier Brut. Is it affiliated to the Jeweler/Watchmaker?

I've bought very little for the cellar in the last 3-4 months (it's full, and had to 'clear' a bit of space over Christmas). Had a bit of a forgetful moment with an expired credit card, so I got my Tyrrell's white allocation a bit late this year:

3 x Vat 1 Semillon
3 x Vat 47 Chardonnay

I think both of these wines are world class, and at around $50 a bottle, you're getting an absolute steal if you buy from the wine club.

It was in December, so still qualifies for this thread

A modest purchase, after a fantastic tasting with Hylton McLean and Jane Bromley at Honey Moon Vineyard in Echunga, as part of an MWS Adl Hills/Barossa trip just before Xmas:

2 x 2018 Honey Moon Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir ~ Extra
2 x 2015 Honey Moon Adelaide Hills Shiraz
1 x Honey Moon Vineyard Sweet Cream Apera
1 x Honey Moon Classic Tawny

Just making a great range of wines, fizz (Rose Brut and BdB), chardonnay, pinot, shiraz and some really interesting fortifieds. Highly recommended.

I have no room to store anymore wine, but still I fell for the Sami-Odi offer

3 bottles each of the 2020 and the new "Our Hill" Syrah plus 6 of Little Wine 11

Price of the Little Wine is up to $60 and the Single Vintage is $85.
This is my church, this is where I heal my hurts.

Missed out on the new Sami-Odi “Our Hill” Syrah, sounds like the offer has gone out in tranches with the first group having exhausted the minuscule quantities (only 815 bottles filled!). But I picked up 6 each of the Little Wine #11 and the Hoffmann Dallwitz.
