Rockford Dry Country Grenache 2017

FYI

Is now available for Stonewallers.
Limit at the moment is 6 bottles.
I appreciate all forms of alcohol, as long as its wine.

I've tried the 2016 and it was really nice. Much lighter and more finesse than I expected.

I'll certainly get some, but I'm really looking forward to the '18. It is one the best Grenache vintages for McLaren Vale and the Barossa Valley that I have tasted across the board. Pretty much every Grenache I've tried has been excellent, with many being exceptional. I went quite long on it.

There were some excellent Grenache's made in '17, but being a wetter vintage doesn't seem to suit SA Grenache quite as much as the drier ones.

I liked the '16 Dry Country. Quite savoury and chewy, which like Croquet King, I wasn't expecting either. Well worth the money and should get better with 5-10 years in the bottle.

Cheers
Ian

Do you have to Email them? I got some of the 16 and really enjoyed it.

Not showing up on my order screen. Lots of wines have disappeared from it. (Rieslings, RR, Sparkling). Can still buy BP though, just bought a 6 pack so won't push the friendship.

I just called them up Dave. Wasn't on my order form either.
My accountant is a Stonewaller and he somehow found out so he let me know.
