Nice selection. 4 bottles of the BH pinot noir is quite a lot. I am on mailing list and I get 3.

Indeed!
For what I paid for two dozen wines (admittedly got the Florita very cheap) a single CdC would have covered it

Do you have the 2008 Taittinger Comtes in hand? I am told by my potential supplier that it is not yet released in Australia.

Got my arms twisted (very good prices) badly to get these:
2 X Yangarra High Sands Grenache 2017
1 X Tyrrell's Vat 9 Shiraz 2017
1 X Best's Bin 0 2017
When would I be able to drink these well aged? At my age, I will drink them 5 yrs down the road. Vinfanticide!

More Etna Rosso purchases;

3 x 2017 Benanti Etna Rosso
3 x 2017 Benanti Contrada Cavaliere
4 x 2013 Benanti Etna Rosso Riserva Serra della Contessa
4 x 2014 Benanti Etna Rosso Riserva Rovvitello

apparently after 2015 they dropped the Riservas and went to the individual vineyard Contrada approach. Got the end of stock Riservas from importer at a good price.

I decided to give the Cavaliere a try as it is the highest altitude Contrada at 900 m.

cheers Brodie

Not sure if I want anyone getting near my butt with their tongue, but I will always support an Etna purchase!

My taste buds are still OK, but they are now butt ended by severe tannins.

3 x 2019 Sorrenberg Chardonnay - Bought the last couple of vintages after being gifted a bottle by Rens a few years ago. Up there with Australia's best.
12 x 2018 Gomersal Eden Valley Riesling - At a price too good to refuse and a great warm weather wine.

Cheers
Ian
If you had to choose between drinking great wine or winning Lotto, which would you choose - Red or White?

2 dozen Tahbilk 2017 'Family Series' Cabernet to keep the wolf from the door
6 Golden Drop 2017 Sparkling mango wine (yep - that's exactly what I thought! But it's dry and fairly neutral and seems to age OK)
