Nice! I’ve been eyeing off some of these as well. I heard some good things about this release.

Yeah the reviews seem to place it about the same as the 2008. Got access to some really good pricing (for NZ anyway). Still not cheap!

What is the Craiglee sparkling shiraz like? would be keen to try some, based on their outstanding (still) shiraz.

I have no idea, as I have never tried one before. However I am a very big fan of Sparkling Reds AND a very big fan of
Craiglee Reds, so I decided to take a punt. Will post tasting notes when i crack one (when it gets delivered)

I had the No 6 sparkling a few years ago. A more elegant style of Sparkling Shiraz compared with the usual Barossa style. Methinks you're going to thoroughly enjoy your punt.

Liking the selection Sam, though that last one sounds somewhat 'off-piste' !

It is some kind of sour cherry liqueur ... don't think I have tried before, thought I would throw in something left-field.

2016 Luigi Oddero Barbaresco
2016 Luigi Oddero Barolo Rombone
2016 Luigi Oddero Barolo Rocche Rivera

And that's it folks! My cellar is now at 100% capacity. Time to stop procrastinating and auction off those oaky Barolo that I never want to drink.
