For the record, I havent changed my strategy since the last time we had this debate and I would like some kudos for sitting on my hands and not getting involved this time

If I can start again I'd probably resist buying a glut of winess off Vinomofo and its ilk. Out of 1500 or so bottle, I'd say close to a third are leftovers from those buying binge that are either about the peak, have peaked or falling off the cliff quickly within the next year or two.

Good to see that you have picked that Mini2
VM to me is a shadow of its former self, where for example I was buying Seppelts St Peters a few years back for ridiculous prices in the high $30-low $40 range. Now if I can be really bothered and do the detective work on the hidden black, it might be something worthy.
To me they are like 3 pm chuck out at the fruit and veg market where you may get some cheap but bruised tomatoes, or at the service deli before a public holiday at Woolies.

Much much better places to buy without you doing all the heavy lifting.

Cheers

I would have started earlier on Chardonnays for sure, would have avoided the "cellar clubs" from wineries and places like vinomofo, and wine selectors and spent the same money trying different wines. Other than that happy with where I am at, although cellar is still in primary school at 650 odd bottles
