TN: Ocean Eight Pinot Noir 2013

Red / garnet in colour and clear / transparent.

Lovely fragrant nose, with bright red cherries, strawberry and a hint of truffle. It still appears young as a 6 year old - the fruit is largely primary.

The palate is silky, with modest and fine grained tannins and the fruit washes gently over the palate. The finish is reasonably long, and linear, with a line of acid running down the throat.

There's probably a few years left in this one. Not overly complex, but nevertheless enjoyable.
