G'day
This is an annual 6 pack buy for me, and occasionally I've doubled up. This is the oldest vintage in the cellar.
I find these somewhat acidic and a little lean when young; however, like the Fraser Gallop Parterre (also an annual buy), they fill out a bit after a couple of years. After 8 years, this has definitely done that, but without going fat or flabby.
Yellow in colour with gold tinges. Yellow peach over savoury oak, with faint citrus and a nutty character. Palate is wonderfully integrated, with tannic grip, acid, developed fruit and savoury notes all meshing together well. It's mouth-filling without being heavy, and has a lingering finish.
Not likely to get much better, but certainly not showing signed of excessive age. Drink up if you have some.
Cheers
Allan

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
