G'day
I usually open a bubbly red when watching the Australian Open tennis final or the AFL GF. Tonight, this one was used to toast Federer
Deep purple in the glass, with persistent bead. Starting to develop, with some leather accompanying the plums, dark cherries and spices. The palate has some weight and richness, without being too heavy or viscous. There's a bit of coffee and dark chocolate to supplement the fruit on the palate, and there's a little tannic grip.
Reasonably satisfying now, but I suspect will get better over the next 5 years or more. I must revisit some of the older vintages I have of this wine.
Cheers
Allan

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
