After reading all that I can't help wondering if we should be asking you the question about TWS and the stock market.

Re: Do you buy the wine or the company?
I have had shares in Wine Companies over the years....Cranswick Estate, Southcorp, Fosters etc, and not really made any money out of any of them. Its all about timing, and looking into the future. TWE has gone from a dog of a stock, to a Market Darling, all because of the Chinese liking for Penfolds. Really didnt see that one coming. Made a bit out of selling milk power to China, its been a wild ride the Bellamys shareholder, buty now in the black.
I wanted to buy Wolf Blass when it first listed years ago, but asked my mums stock broker, and he didnt like them at all (I think because he had no idea about a wine company) But it did really well before taken out by SA Brewing, which became Southcorp, then Fosters, then TWE.
I am currently in the lithium playground and small tech stocks.

When not drinking a fine red, I'm a cardboard claret man!

Seems like the brokers mostly missed this coming...Sean wrote:. Also broker upgrades and probably some optimism about the upcoming interim result in February will be why it is having a strong run recently I think.
