Nebbiolo event

Post by Krillian »

Hi Guys,

This popped up in my email account, and after a recent trip to Italy, I am enjoying the style of Nebbiolo's.

Has anyone been to this event before, or going? I think I might partake!

Cheers

Oddly, one of the wineries they have that would really interest me to taste are Fratelli Revello, if only as an academic exercise to see the outer reaches of the modernist style. I recall them once described as 'like having the icing without the cake'! I suspect I wouldn't enjoy the wines, but there again I did enjoy the Barbaresco wines by La Spinetta, albeit not the price. Atypical but enjoyable nonetheless.

Went last year and will be going again this year, so I must have thought it worthwhile. Although the venue is less than ideal for me. Too b...y far away. Still it will suit many.
I've booked into the heavy weights masterclass. David is passionate about Nebbiolo, and he has assisted in converting me over the years. When it's good, there's nothing better!
