Burnished copper gold colour. Smells of butterscotch, not promising. Palate has initial oxidized character (think Jura) then the creamy fruit comes through. Creamy palate, butterscotch and almonds. Definitely seen better days but holding in there as a curio. For a 25 year old Aussie Chardy this is amazing that it is still drinkable. Well done to the late Dr. John
Drank and enjoyed.

Well done, another old Aussie chardonnay holding up over the years. And moderately lowish in alcohol at 13%. What did you serve it with?

Had it with a creamy chicken, ham and leek pie. Went better with a washed rind camembert after.
