I cannot believe and if I knew how to upload a photo, all my beautiful boxes of Wendouree arrived today, just 9 days after I placed my order :D :D
Is this a record!!
Hows that Dave Vino!

Cheers
Craig

I'll help you out - something like this? :D

wendouree.JPG

Yep
Matt, my 22 year old lad brought me a new phone, I have taken a snap, for date stamp if nothing else, tried to upload it on the computer, but no joy. I will have to get him to have a look at what his tech challenged Dad is up to. I am glad that the contents of your photo represent what is in the box, I am almost tempted to open all the boxes, as I still think this is a hoax   .
I am glad you have received your order Matt, because I was beginning to think of that Monty Python sketch...you try telling that to the young people of today and they won't believe ya!!!!

By the way, just got off the phone from Lita, congratulating them on such speedy service...she admits since having Kirstin on-board 'efficiencies' have improved.

Cheers
Craig

Couple of Adelaide retailers happy to send emails containing glossy photos with lots of stock...but no advertised price
One is selling the Shiraz at $149: 99...and the rest of the range from $79-129.
Now that would be what I would call a bargain

I'm in the same boat, sent mine off July 7. Its my first time on the list though so it's not surprising in my case. How long have you been buying?

No deduction for me yet either.

I'm located in Adelaide, 3rd year on the list and order sent off 3 days after receiving it from memory. Hopefully I at least get a smaller allocation.
Very much looking to any tastings notes and/or WF reviews as well.

My allocation was delivered last thursday in full.
I was charged in record time this year.

Good to see you back mate...hope the trip was good.
With all this flurry of Wendouree, think a yearly offline is in order  .
By the way and thanks again TQ, have been back to Clique Exhibition, just as good as last time.

Cheers
Craig.

A yearly Wendouree offline is definitely in order - just need to keep building up my back stock so I can supply something in an acceptable drinking window. Speaking of offlines, is it time to organise another Adelaide one - maybe for Spring?

Still in the USA but full amount came out of account and the boys in the office said
that a few boxes of wine showed up.

Always keen. As an idea maybe the same theme as the 'ending in a 6' offline but using 8 instead.

I see some 98s at the wickman auction . They are all in a window if prepared properly . Beautiful vintage far better than 96 .

I've been stalking those '98s. Let's hope your post doesn't generate too much further interest. :D

Haha was after a Shiraz to put into an Armagh vertical as a spoiler. Don't like sharing my Shiraz when it's spat in a tasting line up.

Has anyone worked out whether they are filling orders by state as they appear to have done in the past?

I put all mine up for auction last year. (90-98).. I keep hearing the Shiraz 'needs more time', but for me, Wendouree Shiraz is the 85 and 88 of Bordeaux.... nothing changes!

SA, red strip, 3rd year and sent the order back 3 days after receiving it.
No charge for me either.

Considering all the talk about processing being especially quick this year I do feel mildly concerned.

I only got billed yesterday and for my full allocation, so they still must be working through them. Red Stripe WA.

VIC, 2mm thick red stripe, 4.2cm long, drawn at a 41 degree angle with the top of the page. I think it was drawn with a Faber-Castell crayon, or might be a Crayola? Still no charge on my credit card. Not expecting any allocation this year as I didn't send back the form.

Chill out guys! You'll all get your orders filled eventually. If the stress is too much to bear, call Wendouree and they'll let you know what's happening with your order and when it'll be processed.

41 degrees? Ha! Mine was 42 degrees! And of course it is not the size that matters...

I get the feeling Wendouree is a producer that you wanna try, and then once you've had a few, you realize you don't love them that much.

That's certainly the impression that I get from reading on this board from time to time.

I haven't yet opened any I have collected from the "noughties", though, so generally inexperienced with this producer.

What did you order?

Order something of everything - all 6 varieties. They like that

I got charged. Less than full allocation. It seems no CS or CSM. Those are in very short supply this year. Think i got everything else. Ordered 6 of everything.
