If you had to choose between drinking great wine or winning Lotto, which would you choose - Red or White?

On a quick visit to McLaren Vale we stopped first at Mollydooker. Wines were so sweet. Alcohol has been tweaked down a little but still the upmarket stuff was 15.5% to !6.5% and showing the heat.
Stopped at Coriole and lineup was the usual rock solid stuff. Bought 6 x Estate Grown Shiraz. Then to D'arenberg where we caught D'arry unpacking the boat after what looked like a fishing trip. Tasted the 2013 McLaren Vale Coppermine Road Cabernet, 2012 Galvo Garage McLaren Vale Cabernet, Merlot, Petite Verdot and 2013 Dead Arm. All lovely wines and walked out with 6 x 2012 Galvo Garage which IMO was superior to the Coppermine Road Cab and half the price. Shows just how good the '12 vintage was.
