2007 Leabrook Estate Gewurztraminer, Adelaide Hills (screwcap): 12% alc. Bright, medium straw/green. It has been a few years since I last visited this wine and it has barely changed, a bit more spicy and oily with apple, rose petal and lychee characters, the creamy acidity and texture of the palate at times riesling-like, the finish long, crisp and minerally. Still a brilliant wine on a hot summer day with Thai or other Asian dishes, or just on its own.
