Still no joy here (Adelaide, posted form back on 7th July, day I started this thread). Will wait a few more days then maybe call early next week.

I'm in ADL and had 6 cases arrive a week ago.

Received my "full" order of 6 cases (requested a case of each red) today, but I have been given 2 cases of Cabernet/Malbec and none of Cabernet Sauvignon. I will call Mrs Brady and check if there was a mix up in the order. :?

Red crayon, VIC, just got charged. Don't think I got everything I asked for (but I had ordered a case of everything). Think I have a fair bit coming though...

Yeah, it goes state by state, first is SA but don't know the sequence after that.

Thanks all. Rang up this morning and spoke to Kirsten, who confirmed my order form was received on 11th July, and that processing shouldn't be too far away. That's a relief.

While many other 'red crayon mark' people in SA appear to have had their orders processed already, perhaps mine was slated for later because I've only been on the list 3 years. Will wait to see what happens.

Thought you would be all over who is on the payroll

So any more details on what's happening with Wendouree?

Cheers

Not sure if people have read this but it is an interview with Lita. Interesting read. From 2002.

Ditto, even I have spoken to Kristen couple of years before. We would have thought Jamie knew everything Wendouree from top to bottom. :)

Yes that's about right, with 6 reds production is in the order of 250-350 cases each, give or take the vagaries of the vintage.

Called Wendouree on Thursday (11/8), coincidently Mrs Brady picked up the phone. I advised her of the duplicate Cab/Mb but no Cab, she confirmed it was a mixed up and will send me a case of Cab. I have been provided with the options of either keeping the duplicate (they will charge again on the Cab) or return to them (for exchange), and I am okay to get back to them in a week time. Most likely I will keep the duplicate because I could not be bothered for all those hassles as long as I received all the red varieties. I will crack a bottle of 14' Cab/Mb tonight to decide if I should keep the duplicates. Fingers crossed! :P

Full allocation for me. Lucky I rang them though as the account I'd given them had ins efficient funds at the time and they don't contact people normally.

4 x Shiraz
2 x Shiraz Malbec
2 x Shiraz Mataro
3 x Cab Malbec

Looks like VIC orders are now being processed. My credit card just got billed for the full amount of my order.

just noticed that my card has been hit over the weekend - red crayon and delivering to Wagga Wagga. Ordered 2 cases in total split between the 6 reds and it look like it has all come thru, Lucky me.

This might be left field, but I'm wondering if order of processing has anything to do with credit card type? I'm an airline points chaser in another life, and put down my AMEX details this year (I did hesitate a bit, but while the form stated that Diners couldn't be accepted, there was no mention of AMEX). Last year I think I used my Visa. For those who have been charged to date, would be interested to know which merchant you have used?

I just got charged. I used a bank issued Amex. I don’t think it made any difference that it was Amex.

:D I used a green biro when filling out my form, do you think it delayed my order?

No offense intended to anyone, but the obsession of the annual Wendouree discussion never fails to amuse.

I actually wrote a note on the back of the order form. I guess they didn't like it as I still haven't been charged.

I guess letting them know that half of what I ordered was going to be sold at auction might have been the wrong thing to say.

Really? Or you joking. Firstly. Won't you lose money as the auction price, minus commission, transport, effort is near parity or less than mail out price?

Secondly, every year they can heaps of folks claiming children's birth vintage which is a little more sentimental.

I only got around to sending my order for a mixed dozen last week and I can see that my card has already been debited for what I requested. Never had a problem to date in receiving what had been asked.

I was only joking.

I've never sold any wine at all. I buy it to enjoy not as an investment.
