Can everyone please confirm whether they are still attending so that the back up attendees can have some notice as to whether they are in.
Cheers

I'm still in!

My roster doesn't work for the footy game, I arrive Sunday morning now. I need to be in ADL to settle on a property on the Monday.

Hi Gents.

As I can't make the Saturday Bulldog game my good friend can't be enticed to make the journey from Melbourne. So I'm a single.

I can provide 2 x HofG or 1 x HofG and a white? We seem short on white.

Now, the issue with the white is I fly in Sunday morning and will need to go to my cellar and chill. So just in case, I bought some Ravenau at the Wickmans auction and I could get Mark to chill a bottle.

With Jamie's friend dropping out, and Chi still slated as a maybe, it's probably worth also confirming who is ready to step in if a space opens up. George Krashos and Vinh Nguyen, that means you guys - are you still interested? If not, I am sure John Mack and Crazy Dave could fill in if necessary at short notice.

Hi guys

I can't confirm until next week. Sorry this is hospitality...

I'm happy to move to standby for those who can confirm.

Cheers

If a space opens up John Mack could take a 1978 Montrachet with a Grand Cru as a back up (also a Trimbach SGN), but can add to the HOG-fest if preferred.

Any thoughts/preferrences?

ha ha ha DRC!
you could have purchased my 2007 at auction this year
I was too scared to drink it in case it was corked or oxidised.
I have tried an older one that Aubert opened at a tasting - it was awesome- another bottle was opened for the other table and it was corked!
good luck with the Prieur

I don't really have a back up in the requisite class. Could bring a 1995 Grande Dame to back up the champagne or Centenary to back up the Grange, but as noted previously, these are not up to snuff for a SOK night.

Happy to buy someone else's back up wine on the night if one of my wines is stuffed, or if none available, I can take an emergency Uber down to **** *** Cellars on the night and buy a quick replacement.
