Burgundy Offline Sydney

Post by Polymer »

Just wanted to see if any of the overflow from the March 3rd Sydney Offline wanted to meet on a different date. A bit of short notice but fiending for another offline...Only requirement: must bring a burgundy. Chablis is ok, Beaujolais doesn't count :) (I'm the Booj fan as well). If you bring an extra, it must be burgundy or something you consider a Burgundy Killer (I know, that leaves it up to interpretation..but all in fun).

Champagne as extra is always great (I guess that should always be the exception :)).

Feb 24th - Golden Century 7pm.

1. maybs Champers (which means you'll be late) and a Red
2. Croquet King - 08 Magnien MSD Aux Petites Noix, 11 Dominique Mugneret NSG
3. andrewpc - 2009 Domaine Follin-Arbelet Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru Les Vercots
4. Polymer - 01 Pierre Morey Meursault Tessons, 07 Bitouzet Meursault Perrieres
5. Vinh Red
6. Vinh's +1 White
7. mse
8. Hacker - Red
9. PaulV - Red + White

If there are any others, might have another spot open!

I'm keen Polymer but can't do the 25th. I can do 24th or 26th.

Happy with any of those venues, or even Golden Century to feast on some duck and pork with that burgundy goodness.

Yes I'm in though it's a pity it's the night before Easter. Small chance we may be travelling.

Updated the list.

Still need to hear from Meefun (give him a couple of days)
Still need confirmation from Rooman and Hacker as the date is in Feb not March.
Still need confirmation from TiggerK as I changed the date on him (sorry Tim).

Anyone got any thoughts about what they will bring yet? Red, white...? Just thinking about balance. I'll probably bring a white unless (unexpectedly) there are too many on the cards.
