Yes, but do they have the hype attached go them that these wines do?

Cheers

Michael

PS And yes I almost caved and bought a couple even though they are about 4 times my standard purchase price.

I certainly bought them without hesitation. If they are expensive, they must be good, isn't that how it works????

This probably isn't worthy of a seperate thread so I'll post in there.

For those of you who have utilised the TWE staff account thingo - is there anything particularly worthwhile? Alot of the prices I've seen floating around are about the same as most retailers...

Way, way, way too much. Especially as I have stopped buying wine because the cellar's full. Didn't I say this last December?
Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.

I stopped buying wine about 4 months ago when my cellar became officially 97% full! Lucky - it seems the fixed size of my cellar has saved me from an inevitable and expensive divorce :D

Having said that, a few holes seem to have inexplicably appeared in the racks, so they have been filled this week with:

6 x 2012 Moss Wood Cabernet
6 x 2014 Clonakilla Shiraz Viognier
6 x Wynns Black Label Cabernet (that old favourite "must-have")

I really wasn't planning to buy anything more, but then I discovered that 2014 Hoddles Creek 1er Pinot has been pre-released to existing customers. What's a Pinot lover to do? I just had to buy 6 bottles before it sells out! :)

I bought a case of the 2007 too. Will keep up a few more vintages until the price more prohibitive.

I've dined with a few notable riesling makes this year and CStH is the pinnacle for them so I thought I'd add it to the cellar in modest quantity.
