I feel like I should recognize the man on the left but can't seem to pull it out. Next to him is James Halliday is it not? And I'm going out on a limb and and saying that the fourth person might be a very young Len Evans. Mahmoud.

I agree with Mahmoud, Halliday is second from the left, the eyebrows are a dead giveaway

Michael, was this the opening of David and Adam Wynn's Mountadam winery in 1984...if so the last two could be them? Love Whitey's cream slacks...not sure if they would fit now. Cheers Craig

One direction?
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.

tj2 Could be a young John Wade...not an overly tall man, if this photo is circa 1984 might be so. Michael what about an old journo or accounts man? Frank Devine, David Dunstan?? Or an old wine merchant...Doug Crittenden? Thats about it....N4Sir will know the answer...come on Ian have a shot. Cheers Craig

Michael does tj2 and perhaps my good self get a prize
Was the event in the photo the opening of the MountAdam Winery?
If so, I was there as a first year BSc student in Oenolgy from Roseworthy College.
The Wynn family were great supporters and as poor students back in the 80s, there were plenty of 'off the back of a truck' deals.
Bit of a purple patch for John Wade, inaugural 82 JR and smashing BL of same vintage and yes have had the 84 HP a number of times...georgous wines.
Cheers

I think it's the 94 HP Cab you are referring to gents. John founded Howard Park in 1986 after he left Wynns and moved to WA Cheers Dave
