DM 2007 magnum help

Post by Mark Perth »

I have a magnum of the 2007 Cullen Diana Madeline. Is it way too young too touch? For those that have tried it, any comments?

Regards

It will be very very very very very young. This is a long term wine, and if it's a magnum (and under screwcap?) I wouldn't touch it for at least another 5 years.

I tried a 750ml bottle as part of a vertical a few years ago:

With a magnum format I expect it will be very young - if you do open it, be prepared that you may have to breathe it a long time for it to become approachable.

Cheers,
Ian

Thanks Ian

It has been 3 years since your notes, I wonder how the 07 DM has changed (if at all) in this time. I will give mine a few more years rest.
