Mike Press 2013 Cabernet Sav: What has not been said about this wine? Another triumph.
Can't believe the astronomical price hike. $14.00!!! Getting up near Penfold's territory here. Although I notice Gavin has it at the heavily discounted price of $12.50-Get on it before the Chinese find out about this iconic wine. Who knows it may hit $15 in a few years and generate thread after thread discussing the evil empires pricing stratagy... :D
never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

Can the average Chinese wine-lover afford to drink Mike Press?

An auction win for me too,
2 x 1990 Wendouree Cab Malbec, this was the best Wendouree I have ever tried at an offline last year. Hope these live up to my memory.

Ozzie,

I can still easily get the 2010 here. Should I stock up on that, or wait for the 2012? I expect the price to be the same.

The 2010 is good, but the 2012 is a little better in my opinion. If price is the same, I'd wait for the 2012.

Big Month...
2011 Vietti Perbacco x 4
2010 Remondo Placido La Montessa x 6
2013 St Hallett Sonntag x 6
2013 Castle Rock Estate Riesling
2012 Jim Barry Riesling The Florita X 3
2012 Heemskirk Riesling x 3
2013 Pikes Riesling x 6
2011 Howard Park Riesling x 3
2012 Derwent Estate Riesling x 6
2010 Clemens Hill Pinot Noir Reserve X 6
2012 Freycinet Riesling x 6
2012 Freycinet Pinot Noir x 3
2012 Home Hill Pinot Noir Reserve White label x3
2012 Pooley Estate Pinot Noir Butchers Hill x 3
2012 Third Child Pinot Noir x 6
2012 Turkey Flat Shiraz x 6

Attempting to balance the cellar, I have a lot of Cabernet and blends at present (probably because some of the bigger ones have needed more time than expected) and the pinot seems to get drunk quickly
