Hi...I am curious to know if there are any tasting notes on Irvine Grand Merlot 98 and if so how it rates compared to earlier vintages? Also what $ range should it be in atm and can it improve over time?
My fav. vinatge was '96.
Merlot used to be Aus's holy grail until Irvine Grand came along but now there are others that can produced just as excellent.
Irvine Grand is overhyped and overpriced.
2 merlot that is just as good is Cimicky Merlot and Evans & Tates.
