Kay Brothers Block 6 Shiraz 2002

Alc: 15,0%

Color: Very dark red, also on the edge

Nose: Dark berrys, bit of dried fruit, pepper, mostly red, in the background fine toasted oak, very complex, a very little bit of floral hints

Mouth: Very much dark fruits, a full body with fine tannin, oak, pepper, very round, long finish with all the stuff from the mouth ans nose

For me 95/100, think he will good for the next 5-8 years.

I bought half a dozen of this when I spent the vintage with Colin Kay (Owner/wine maker) back in 2005 and he said not to touch it until 2025. It is the first Old Block 6 under screw cap. Happy to hear it is traveling well :D

This is one of my favourite wines.
I appreciate all forms of alcohol, as long as its wine.
