I just bought a truckload of stuff after buying a new house with a cellar double the size of the old one! Made me realise how my collection had largely degenerated down to Coonawarra reds and fortifieds. Time and a place and all that...

Anyway:

Several Morgon Beaujolais'
A bunch of Pinots: Bress, some Tassie gear, a few Oakridge Estates
A dozen each of the Mike Press Shiraz and Chard... Damn they're good value!
Cheers

Pretty good to very good from the reports I have read (with of course a few mandatory "best vintage since xxx" comments as well).
To be perfectly honest with you though, I ordered these sight unseen and on comparative reviews with 2012 by Pringle and a few comments on WineFront. Timo has delivered the goods previously, happy to back him to do it again.

Michael.,

yep that's the stuff. I just corrected the post after putting the empty wine bottle in the glass bin. I agree its a superb drop especially at that price. I can't believe I have not come across it before. I will be really interested to see how well it ages. Have you (or anyone else for that matter) tried any of their older wines?

I have some older Zephyrus (2006 and 2007) both of which are beautiful drinking. I have managed to hang onto some Kennedys for a few years but they are simply too delicious to resist given the price. I haven't kept any of the Rieslings for more than a couple of years for the same reason.

Cheers

Having decided I really enjoy aged riesling, I have been aggressively collecting it in recent years. So far I have put down about 10 cases of the 2012 vintage. I generally drink a couple of each case then throw it to the back of the cellar. Since 2013 is looking good, I should be able to keep my hands off the 2012 once I move onto the 2013. I have started drinking some of the 2005 and they are just starting to show. The Leo Buring was an absolute steal whilst the Grosset Watervale is stunning but still far too young.
