Good onya Sean. It's good to pull out a vertical every now and again to watch a wine's development.

Cheers

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.

In general Tahbilk's riesling seems to suffer from acid deficiency.
Maybe they should pick earlier? Might tighten up the flavours, hold the acid and drop the alcohol.
A win all round...

The Tahbilk Rieslings and semillons I've had in the past, I've enjoyed when young.

I had an '09 Tahbilk Riesling last week (from a musuem release mixed doz) and found the nose pretty good - as you describe, floral and a bit minerally/bath salty and full of promise, but found the palate flabby and dull. Bit sweet, bit phenolic and not enough acidity to balance. Everything else in the mixed case has been stellar though - '99 shiraz, and 04 cab and a current vintage Marsanne.
