WineHouse

Post by WineLove »

Hi Guys,

Looking to buy a bottle of Grange from winehouse.

Has a fair bit of age on it, 26 years and was wondering what you think the condition will be. Length of drinking on it?

I know it is at neck level now.

Anyone bought from these guys/know return policies on something that age?

cheers

Fill level seems reasonable. The only other thing you really need to worry about is provenance.

No idea about returns, but I had a great experience buying a 1982 John Riddock from them. The bottle was in superb condition, they were helpful and fast in getting it out to me.

I've been to their store - temp and humidity controlled, and they seem to take pride in the fact that their bottles are well looked after. The store is a genuine 'kid in a candy store' experience - I spent over an hour trawling through, spending 100s of thousands of dream money before buying a 2002 Kalleske Greenock shiraz from their display of currently on special wines. Couldn't recommend them enough.
