I'm over the moon at finding a few bottles of the '07 Tahbilk Cabernet for $8, the wine gods couldn't be kinder.

Shit, I was THINKING this was a laughing matter Sam, but its getting a bit silly now...should have a obsession thread of all of its own, but think its near 20 dozen possibly more, but i hope not.
Apart from some crazy prices on some where i may have got 12 ( Heggies, Pewsey, Henschkes Peggy's, all $13) have only brought 6's generally.

Yes insane i am now approaching some silly levels of all the rieslings from 1996 to now.

Just 3 or 4 delayed museum releases from the likes of sevenhill, Tim adams, Skillagalee, Mitchell, pewsy contours, wigan, heggies museum and then....I WILL STOP!!

I think I am catching Mike H in NYC re our passion for bubbles and Rizza's respectively
Cheers Craig.

Had to justify this hard and long to the "financial controller", but luckily she accepted my impassioned defence:

6 x 2013 Grosset Riesling
6 x 2010 Xanadu Chardonnay
6 x 2012 Bests EVT Riesling
4 x 2012 Clonakilla Shiraz Viognier
2 x 2011 Bests Old Vine Pinot Meunier

That's me done for the year locally but looking forward to Porto wine region trip in early November. Just a few more :-)

Cheers,
Rahul

12 x 2009 chateau marjosse. Bordeaux blend of merlot/cab/malbec.
For the price it's a great wine. Will drink two a year for the next 6 years.

My Riesling addiction continues unabated

Don't know if stores are clearing shelf space for the 2013's (after all its just wine!) but lucky for me :D
Some more 2012 at really...silly prices in the mid teens or thereabouts, but a mixed box of Tim Adams and Mitchel's 2012s

Also another few bottles of 2012 Steingarten...challenges Pikes The Merle for me as the best two of the vintage.

Cheers Craig.
