- I made famous mass-market Riesling, and while Riesling is still part of the range it's not what I'm best known for
- I no longer own my company
- In the early 1990's I released 'futures' certificates for one of my red wines

A few points on Brian Croser
- He made Hardy's Siegersdorf while working there in the early 70's
- The Wine, of course is Croser
- The name Petaluma came from a region in California.
- The region mentioned is the Adelaide Hills, which at that time was not know for premium wine. Before deciding to plant there he surveyed sites in Yarra Valley, Geelong, Tasmania and Clare.
- Petaluma Group was acquired by Lion Nathan in 2001
- The Futures is the Petaluma Merlot.
