I just can't stop buying 2012 Rieslings..more Pikes and Petaluma.

Quite a lot of self-import grower Champagne...

Eyeing up the new Head releases now. It's lucky the wife is a lush, or I would be in trouble...

2 x 2011 Torbreck The Fish Shiraz
1 x 2011 Torbreck The Struie Shiraz
2 x 2010 Torbreck The Kyloe Mataro
1 x 2009 Torbreck The Steading Magnum
1 x 2010 Torbreck The Highland Fling Fortified Shiraz
6 x 2012 Head Old Vine Grenache

3 x 2012 Head Red GSM
6 x 2010 Ballycroft Small Berry Cabernet
2 x 2008 Ballycroft Small Berry Shiraz
2 x 2010 Ballycroft Small Berry American Shiraz
2 x 2010 Ballycroft Small Berry French Shiraz
6 x Rockford Black Shiraz
3 x 2010 Rockford Rifle Range Cabernet
2 x 2010 Rod and Spur Shiraz Cabernet
2 x 2010 Rockford Eden Valley Riesling
2 x 2004 Rockford Flaxman's SVS Shiraz
2 x 2004 Rockford Shiraz VP
1 x Rockford Marion Tawny
1 x 2006 Rockford Home Block Cabernet Magnum
6 x 2009 Gomersal Shiraz

3 x 2008 Gomersal Mataro
3 x 2009 Gomersal Shiraz Magnums
3 x 2010 Charles Melton Richeliu
2 x 2013 Charles Melton Rose of Virginia Rose

4 x 2010 Burge Family Garnarcha
2 x Burge Family Very Old Tawny
6 x 2012 Burge Family Draycott Shiraz
1 x 2010 Hobbs Old Vine Shiraz
2 x 2012 Massena Midnight Run GSM
2 x 2010 Schwarz Theile Road Grenache
3 x 2012 Penfolds Bin 51 Eden Valley Riesling (on n4sir's review)
3 x 2012 Wilson DJW Riesling
3 x 2012 Mount Horricks Watervale Riesling
3 x 2012 Dandelion Wonderland of the Eden Valley Riesling
3 x 2012 Jim Barry Watervale Riesling
6 x 2010 Bleasdale Frank Potts Cabernet Blend

Plue we won 8 x 2009 Moppa Springs and 8 x 2009 Semillon at the Rockford golf day as well.

Been a big few weeks and I need to put the Credit Cards in mothballs for a few months. There is just so much good wine around with the 2010 and 2012 vintages in SA and VIC, and the last few in WA are also producing great wines. Plus the cellar is overflowing and I can't get to much of the wine now :(

Cheers
Ian

That is one interesting mix you have there! I'd be drinking the DRC and Grange while you were waiting for the Mike Press to come around :!:

Did something fall off the back of a truck, 14g of Grange, don't know what the DRC is worth...one of the more informed on here can enlighten me

The MP and the OB cat's piss would be freebies surely

Umm a little look on wine searcher tells me we have a spammer here, but the well informed here knew that already didn't you....not April 1 is it.. The old 2009 DRC La Tache chestnut at 2500 pounds a bottle....perhaps the 14 g's worth of grange was a freebie as well

Quick look at wine searcher, 2009 La Tache, at least 3000 per bottle overseas...

Hmmm, perhaps the Mike Press is the wine for cooking, and the Oyster Bay cats piss is for washing the grease off the pans/bbq...

Anyways, like how the DRC and Grange were snuck in there so matter-of-factly.

Wow, didn't realise my purchases would stir up so much hubbub.

DRC and Grange - $ inheritance, will raise a toast in remembrance each time I enjoy one of these.

Got a few non-serious wine friends (spin the goonbag types) coming over, hence the Oyster Bay and Mike Press for them.

You buy a dozen DRC La Tache, and not expect any interest? (Yeah and that Penfolds stuff too).

Nice work tarija, look fwd to your notes on the DRC in 2039 or 2043 perhaps? :D

Ross,

That is the last 4 weeks and I've promised my better half there will be no more purchases until the mailer season in September/October. The trip to the Barossa broke me, thankfully I only do it once or twice a year. I did go a bit crazy this year though. The 2012 Rieslings are a result of all the chatter on here about the quality of them. The quality of the 2010's from the Barossa is exceptional as well.

Cheers
Ian

As a matter of interest, and not that I am in the market, but where do you get a lazy dozen of La Tache? I thought they were somewhat rationed out?
