TN:1994 Yalumba Barrel Select, Family Reserve Cab Sav Merlot

Starting to lighten around the edges but still retains nice color. On opening, the nose was closed and unyielding but opened up a bit with blackcurrant and hints of cedar. A nice soft palate with fine layers of blackfruits, leather, meat and dusty tannins. Good length and finishing with a note of coffee.
