Cooler weather is upon us. In this transition period the weather always drives confusion in my preference for Shiraz over Cab Sav or blends.
Is there a logical reason for this ?

No. The weather is heading you towards room temperature wines; e.g. reds. It's up to you from here
Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
